The service

Kuwentuhan offers illustrated Filipino stories with narration, read-along pages, Family Voice recordings, and offline downloads. The app is coming soon to Google Play and the App Store. Features may change, and availability can vary by device and region.

No account needed

Kuwentuhan does not require an account or sign-in. Your reading progress, favorites, settings, downloads, and Family Voice recordings live on your device. If you uninstall the app or clear its data, that local information is removed and cannot be restored by us.

Personal use licence

Stories, illustrations, narration, and other Kuwentuhan content are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them for family, non-commercial reading. You may not resell, redistribute, publicly perform, or create derivative works from the content, or remove ownership notices.

Purchases and subscriptions

Paid plans and story packs are sold through Google Play or the App Store, and their terms and refund policies apply. Current prices on this site are in Philippine pesos:

• Kuwentuhan Plus: ₱99 per month, or ₱799 per year
• Lifetime: ₱399 one-time payment
• Story packs: from ₱99 each

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in your store account settings. Prices may change; we will show the current price before you buy.

Family Voice recordings

Recordings you make are yours. They are stored on your device and are not uploaded to us. You are responsible for the content you record and for keeping your device secure.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute Kuwentuhan content
• Reverse engineer, tamper with, or bypass app protections or parental controls
• Use the service for unlawful purposes or to harm others
• Interfere with the website or the app's normal operation

Offline content

Downloaded stories can be read without an internet connection. Downloads are tied to your device and to the plan you purchased; a Lifetime purchase includes current stories and future story updates.

Availability and disclaimers

We work to keep Kuwentuhan available and accurate, but the service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Story content is for entertainment and early-learning support, not professional advice. Parents and guardians remain responsible for supervising their children's use.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kuwentuhan is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the service, including lost local data, missed downloads, or store purchase issues. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app grows. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Continuing to use Kuwentuhan after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
