Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 24, 2026
Kuwentuhan is a Filipino story-time app made for families. We built it to ask as little of you as possible: no account, no sign-in, and no personal data collected. This page explains what that means for the app and for this website.
No account or sign-in
You can open Kuwentuhan and start reading without registering. We do not ask for an email address, phone number, password, or social media login. There is nothing to verify and nothing to remember.
Information we do not collect
The app does not collect, transmit, or sell personal information. In particular, we do not collect:
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or passwords
- Precise location, contacts, photos, or microphone data beyond recordings you create on your own device
- Advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking data
- Usage analytics or behavioural profiles
What stays on your device
Reading progress, favorites, settings, downloaded stories, and Family Voice recordings are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded to us and are not synced to an account. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling it removes them.
Offline capable
Downloaded stories are saved on your device and open without an internet connection. Reading offline does not require a sign-in, a sync, or a connection back to us.
Purchases
Kuwentuhan Plus, Lifetime, and story packs are purchased through Google Play or the App Store. Payment details are handled by the store; we never receive your card information. We may receive a purchase confirmation so the app can unlock what you bought. Google's and Apple's privacy policies apply to those purchases.
Children's privacy
Kuwentuhan is designed for families and does not require any personal information from children. There are no ads, no third-party trackers, and no sign-in. Parents and guardians can limit what is available through parental controls.
This website
This marketing site is a static page. It does not create accounts, set cookies, or run analytics. Our web host may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and browser types, for security and reliability. The page loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the font files are requested.
Changes to this policy
If the way the app handles data changes, we will update this page and the date above. Continued use of Kuwentuhan after an update means you accept the revised policy.
